Wordless Wednesday - Ruby


Taronga  Western Plains ...making lunch interesting for Ruby up a 15ft ? pole.

 I was taking this through the bush/folliage in front - hence the yellow.

I love the Big Cats at the Zoo ...just wouldn't want to get up close.

Zoo's are so different today compared to when I was a child. I use to get upset as a child when I use to see the elephant in a concrete jungle with a chain around its leg. Nowadays it is a pleasure to take my children. Imagine what they will be like in another 20 years.

They're amazing creatures, aren't they? We used to love going to see them at Dreamworld. Interest fact (to me) my most common search to get to my blog is "Dreamworld Tigers" ... who knew so many people (welll, like, 10 people) googled that?!

I grew up in a zoo in New Zealand and we had orphaned tiger cubs living in our lounge room for a while! :)
