Wordless Wednesday - Why I am Mother of the year - Gretsch Drums


Uh Mum, I accidentally bought these Gretsch drums - the phone was in my pocket I don't know how it happened? We get the old drums ...my little drummer boys will be happy about that ! I nicked the image from his FB.

Oh my. I hope you have some ear plugs! That looks like a cool drum kit. The guy next door plays drums, I actually like it when he gets on them, because he can PLAY. I have known to jive about while hanging out the washing, it cracks the girls up.

Haha this sounds very familiar... but in my case it's my husband!! He plays drums in a band and is seriously good!! Only problem is he's now taking up two of our spare rooms with his kits... and another one has just been ordered!!!! Geez!! xx

Oh dear.... my neighbour's children are drummer boys I remember way back when the eldest started playing I think he was about 8 or 9, it used to make me want to buy ear muffs. These days I wonder how a 17 year old has such awesome taste in music I actually look forward to him pumping the stereo and playing is drums every saturday with out fail!

Our neighbours did not enjoy his drum playing even in insulated cabin. They called the council on us . We had to relocate him to the garage and fit it out.
Now, we moved and they are a long way away in Sydney. The little drummers I'll put in a caravan in the middle of a paddock.

How awesome are they and you! I'm not sure I could do the constant learning. I needed you when I was growing up - I was sent to the VERY back yard to practise the Flute!
