This is an artwork we bought at our School Trivia night auction. Paintings tell the story of the Artist's connection to their country. I need to find our story. I'm very interested. I love the texture, colour and detail -which unfortunately I can't capture well enough with bad light in our lounge room and my phone.
I am reminded this week as the tradional owners of our great land celebrate Naidoc week.
We will have a young Aboriginal friend of the boys' here for 2 days , his mother and grandparents are Aboriginal - Wiradjuri. I think the artist is too.
