Taking Stock - June

Reading: Just finished The Memory Keeper's Daughter ...as a mother of twins and having lost a baby daughter it resonated with me.

Making: Should be making Guest lists and birthday party plans for our joint big ending in 0 birthday at the end of July.

Baking
: Birthday cup cakes for the dynamic duos' 10th Birthday tomorrow ...soon.

Dining: Out with the Quirky Perkies - Breast Cancer Survivors Group tonight and Chinese Restaurant with birthday boys tomorrow.

Bookmarking: All the things I need to do to get ready for my trip to China and fitness related pins.

Remembering: these photos 6 years ago oh the cuteness

Thinking: Of all the things I should be doing instead.

Feeling: Like crawling back into bed with a new book.

Hoping: I reach more people and my fundraising goal.

Giggling: I've had a few quiet chuckles browsing Facebook and Mia's photographer calling her a sexy bonnet model.
Free Hugs

Wishing: It was Friday already - I've got a massage booked and I'm so excited about the boys' birthday.

Buying: My new claw foot Bath and Birthday presents - June was a busy birthday month and now July too.

Wearing: new mermaid leggings and Curvy jeans.

Loving: That we have a wood-chopper and enough fallen wood to keep the fire roaring all day and night. Fringe benefits of a scrub farm.

Missing
: Mia ...she moved to the workshop shed because of 'bullying' from the 3 other rescue cats and now an extra feral.

Enjoying: Cooking with my boys - Satay Chicken last night with Sam and Pikelets with Joel this morning.

Watching: Offspring - enough said.

Listening
: To cows mooing, their semi -grown up calves (Wieners) went to market yesterday.

Running: Parkrun mostly , I need to ramp it up for The City to Surf.

Wondering
: When will I see you again ? ... this goes out to several friends I am missing.

Snacking: On Cheese and crackers or Basil Cashew dip.

Trying: to have it ALL ! do it ALL with limited success.

Eating: Lots of Soup - it's the weather for it.

Needing: To de-clutter the clothes that don't fit or I don't wear and pack away summer .

Coveting: Mermaid leggings in GOLD.

Noticing: My strength and balance has improved with a mix of group gym classes and yoga.

Disliking: Hairs on my chin and a sore butt from squats.

Knowing: I have 6 weeks to get 14km race fit and be fit for paddling in China.

Helping: Set-up for the Stars Of Dubbo - Cancer Council fundraising night. I can't be there because of Birthday Boys.

Pondering : On this day - 9 years ago right about now it was slowly sinking in , that someone was really wrong with me and our twin boys would be born sooner than July 14th ...oh what a special day it was. The days have flown off the calendar this last trip around the sun. I can hardly believe it.

Looking forward to: All the birthdays in July - there are stacks in our family not to mention my own big one ending in 0. Then my big trip to China.

So tell me how are things going at your place ?

Is life treating you kind?

Can you still see the light at the end of the tunnel?

Are your days flying by so fast you only see a blur ?

well Welcome, oh welcome (Though I hope NOT) , to my world.

Wordless Wednesday : Mermaid Legs

I love mermaid legs in boots !

You are never too old for Holographic Mermaid Legs or maybe Shiny Dragon Scale Leggings

I wore them as Yoga pants and for Dragon boating ... an entire team was wearing them at the Regatta. They sold  me ! So comfy too. Just incredibly difficult to photograph.

Movie night in

My dynamic duo are so excited that Kung Fu Panda 3 is out now on iTunes.

KungFuPanda3_MusicVideoClip_EverybodyLovesAPandaParty

Tonight, is a special mid week movie night in (for those who could care less about that football match) as 20th Century Fox releases Kung Fu Panda 3 Awesome edition on Digital HD (Blu-ray™ and DVD Wednesday 6 July .)
We are on the home straight to the school holidays (again) so it will be a welcome relief from the annoying 'Regular Show'.

I didn't get to see it in the cinema with my family as I was off paddling. Hubby enjoyed it as much as the boys. They wanted to go a second time to take me but our regional theatre has only a few cinemas so very short runs to fit in all the new releases.

The boys had all Po's swift moves to show me though - they loved the cute and goofy characters and fun jokes.

DreamWorks Animation’s KUNG FU PANDA 3 - not only one of the best reviewed films of the year it is one of the top five grossing films of 2016 worldwide.

Starring - Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen, Lucy Liu, David Cross, James Hong, Randall Duk Kim, Bryan Cranston, J. K. Simmons, Kate Hudson ...though I can only pick a few.

I received a complimentary code for iTunes for sharing KUNG FU PANDA 3.

Wordless Wednesday : Celebrating Life in the Sea of Pink

Can you see Dragon Boat clouds ?

I've been away since last Thursday at the National Dragons Abreast Regatta dedicated to breast cancer survivors and their supporters.

There were Pink Paddlers dancing and chanting, two days of spectacular racing, belly dancing, tai-chi, fabulous fun,  a beautiful Flowers on the Water ceremony ~ 'tears of remembrance' .
The finale' was a stunning a gala dinner, most of all it was a flow of love, in a regatta of unity celebrating life with an awesome crew of women and a few men too.

176 Paddlers in formation = 8 boats + 800 hearts on shore ...

Floating in to shore

Flowers on the water Ceremony ...remembering those whose lives were cut short.
Last paddle around Lake Kawana - Kawana Waters

The Sweep at the rear has a magical skill to steer the boat and stop us sinking !

Did I mention sunshine on The Sunshine Coast  - we just beat the storms out on Sunday !

Help me reach my 14km City to Surf $1000 goal for Children's Tumour Foundation .
I'm running with the

Despite dismal weather, rain and cold - our new remembrance Rose garden is almost complete, We admitted defeat and called in the big guns.

The driveway is being fixed , topped and rolled too with granitey stuff (you can tell I know a lot)
